Vespa and bike routes in north Mallorca

All of them start at our Playa de Muro office and use paved roads. There are short loops around the Bay of Alcúdia and full-day trips to the villages inland. Pick one, open it in Google Maps and go.

Vespa routes

Our Vespas are 125cc: from short rides around the bay to full-day trips to inland towns, but never all the way to Palma. The old towns of Alcúdia and Pollença are restricted zones: don't ride in (if the authorities notify a penalty, we pass it on to you with a €30 handling fee and €200), and visit them on foot.

Bay of Alcúdia and Alcanada≈21 km loop

Port d'Alcúdia and the Alcanada lighthouse facing the islet, then back along the bay. A short ride, perfect for your first outing on a Vespa.

Port de Pollença≈31 km round trip

Along the bay to Port de Pollença: seafront promenade, old pier and beach, ideal for lunch or a drink by the sea.

East coast to Son Serra de Marina≈35 km round trip

Through Can Picafort to the long, quiet beach of Son Serra de Marina — perfect for a full day out.

Campanet Caves≈41 km round trip

A quiet inland road to Campanet and its caves full of stalactites and stalagmites, visited on a guided tour.

Formentor Beach≈48 km round trip

Through Port de Pollença and along the Formentor road to Formentor beach, with calm water among the pines. The route ends here.

No unauthorised vehicle may pass the barrier on the road to the Formentor lighthouse, whether it is open or closed, and our motorbikes are not authorised. There are surveillance cameras and simply crossing the barrier is already a fine, even before reaching the lighthouse. Ride at most as far as the barrier, then turn around.
Inca and its market≈56 km round trip

Across the plain to Inca, the town of shoes and leather, with its weekly Thursday market — leave early to stroll at your own pace.

Artà and Cala Mesquida≈82 km round trip

A full-day ride: Artà and the dune-backed beach of Cala Mesquida on the Capdepera coast. Set off early with a full tank.

Bike routes

Our bikes are city/leisure bikes, not mountain or road bikes: flat, short routes on bike lanes and paved lanes, plus one long route for those who want to ride further.

Seafront to Port d'Alcúdia≈9 km round trip

The whole way along the beach promenade and bike lane, flat and traffic-free — perfect for a relaxed ride.

S'Albufera by bike≈9 km round trip

Flat paths alongside the nature park, great for birdwatching among the channels and reed beds.

Campanet via the Braçals≈62 km round trip

From the Camí des Braçals in Alcúdia you follow the Alcúdia–Campanet cycle route (A1) along paved, low-traffic country lanes such as the camí vell de Pollença and the camí vell de Campanet. It is our longest bike route: best on an e-bike, and set off early.

Mixed routes: bike + Hypershell

Ride your bike to the starting point, continue on foot with the Hypershell X on the uphill stretch, and cycle back.

Ermita de la Victoria≈15 km by bike + ≈8 km on foot with Hypershell

Cycle to Mal Pas, at the foot of La Victoria; with the Hypershell X, the climb to the hermitage and its viewpoint stops being a workout. Ride back the same way.

Talaia d'Alcúdia≈15 km by bike + ≈11 km on foot with Hypershell

Cycle to Mal Pas, then a climb assisted by the Hypershell X up to the Talaia, with views over the whole bay of Alcúdia.

On a Vespa, always park in marked spots (white or blue lines, free of charge) — never on pavements.

Vespa routes

On the Vespa you can do anything from a short loop of about 21 km around the bay to full-day trips: Campanet and the Coves (about 41 km), Inca and its Thursday market (about 56 km) or Artà and Cala Mesquida (about 82 km round trip).

Electric bike routes

For bikes we have shorter routes designed for easy rides and a long one, Campanet via the Braçals, about 62 km round trip, which follows the official cycle route between Alcúdia and Campanet. Best on an e-bike.

Before you set off

Some areas in Mallorca are restricted to unauthorised vehicles: the old towns of Alcúdia and Pollença and the Formentor lighthouse road beyond the barrier. Our routes avoid them; please respect them, as there are cameras and fines are passed on to the customer.

Park in the marked motorcycle bays (white or blue lines, free for motorcycles) and never on the pavement.
